Story
Monegros Desert Festival started as a family experiment in the middle of nowhere. In the early 90s, our fathers, already behind Florida 135, began organizing small parties on their land in the Monegros desert. What began as an almost “illegal” gathering for friends and regulars from the club quickly revealed its potential, the idea of taking electronic music out of the city and into a raw, open landscape felt new, wild and totally free.
The vision: create a one‑day, non‑stop festival where the journey was as important as the lineup. People would drive into the desert, disconnect from their routine and dive into a complete experience built around sound, dust and sunrise. Step by step, our family shaped the format, long sets, multiple stages and a sense of pilgrimage that went beyond a typical festival.

Story
As the years went by, Monegros grew into a reference point for electronic music lovers across the world. The festival hosted techno, house, drum and bass, hard sounds and experimental acts, always pushing a mix of underground credibility and big‑room energy. The desert is a blank canvas with industrial scenography, art installations and a sound system designed to hit hard in the open air. Monegros became a rite of passage, a place where one night in the desert could feel like a whole season condensed into hours.
At the heart of Monegros lies a simple idea shared by our parents: you don’t just throw parties, you create a world in the middle of nowhere.
