Delusionville is what happens when we fall in love with the mind of Ron English and decide to build his POPaganda universe full‑size around our dance floor.

Project Description

Our paths crossed with Ron English because we were looking for artists who didn’t just make “beautiful images”, but entire universes and Delusionville was exactly that.

A fully‑formed underground world populated by animal citizens, warped brand mascots and an upside‑down social order that had already lived in paintings, sculptures, designer toys, music and even a documentary. Inviting him into elrow’art meant stop referencing pop culture from the outside and step directly into the brain of the man who coined “POPaganda”?

Together we spent months reimagining Delusionville at real scale:

  • 80+ pieces of custom art

  • Mutant billboards

  • Giant characters

  • A main stage that felt like a cracked‑open cartoon city

  • And 6,000 production hours for exemple to build a technicolor underworld inside Factory Town for Art Basel Miami 2022

Creatively, it opened a door we haven’t closed since. Delusionville proved that our themes could carry the same satirical bite and visual density as a museum show and it cemented elrow’art as a platform where artists like Ron don’t just hang on the walls, they get to build the whole world we party in.

For a few hours the clubs started looking like a place where cartoon animals run the city and every billboard is in on the joke.

The most story-driven elrow theme we had ever produced.

The most story-driven elrow theme we had ever produced.

A world of technicolor animal citizens, twisted billboards and satirical icons that turned our shows into the most ambitious, story‑driven elrow theme we had ever produced.

POPaganda meets party, street art, and rave culture.

In the morning the animals go back to canvas and the city goes back to normal, but everyone who was there knows they spent at least one night living on the other side of the billboard.
