We had been following Alex and Allyson Grey’s work for over a decade before meeting them. Their art makes the invisible visible, turning the human body into energy, light, and consciousness. When we were introduced through our friend Ron English, it felt less like a start and more like a continuation of a long conversation.
During the pandemic we were already exploring the human body in shows like Dance with the Serpent, but with them we went deeper, into the idea of the soul. That became Hallucinarium.
Over six months, they worked closely with our team to turn their visual language into a full immersive world. Every costume, set piece, and structure came directly from their art, not from a traditional show brief.
Allyson’s Secret Writing became a living code across the space, while Alex’s sacred geometry shaped the architecture around the stage and crowd.
From there, we built characters, costumes, and props that brought their universe to life night after night inside the club.
