We’d been pushing our shows as far as physics and club architecture would let us. Season after season in Ibiza we hit the same ceiling: a beautiful show inside a room that wasn’t really built an immersive show. When Yann Pissenem called us about [UNVRS] (a completely rebuilt, multi‑million‑euro hyperclub on the old Privilege site) we knew straight away this wasn’t “just” a new venue, it was a chance to reinvent what elrow could be.
[UNVRS] is the world’s first hyperclub: a 15,000‑capacity, arena‑scale space where technology, big architecture and immersive storytelling are designed to work together from the start. For us, that meant something very real: a 360º black box we can transform completely, rigging points 20 metres up to drop acrobats and structures over the crowd, LED and projection on almost every surface, and a sound system strong enough to open each night with a custom soundtrack, like the intro to a movie. For the first time, the building spoke the same language as our imagination.
Inside that box we built what we call elrow 2.0. The themes became full theatrical worlds, not décor around a DJ, but living ecosystems where music, visuals, architecture and performers all play the same story. For the Nowmads: New World opening, our in‑house team of fifteen creatives from thirteen countries spent six months crafting more than 200 costumes, coordinating over 100 performers, hanging huge kinetic wheels that moved above people’s heads, sending acrobats down from the ceiling and covering [UNVRS] in 360º mapping so every wall and corner felt like part of the Nowmads universe.
The tech changed what we can build, but more importantly, it changed how people can feel inside an elrow night.
